Description :

In 2015 SMUD will continue to serve the low-income community by providing eligible customers with ways to manage their electric bills.  Through the Low Income Weatherization Program and the Community Partners Program, SMUD offers customers of modest means the opportunity to have a home audit and identified Weatherization measures installed at no cost to the customers.  To qualify, customers must meet SMUD’s Energy Assistance Program Rate (EAPR) income guidelines and have an active residential account in their name in SMUD’s service territory.
 
SMUD desires to work with Contractor(s) to have the identified measures installed. The Contractor who is awarded a contract resulting from this RFP will install weatherization and energy efficient measures under both of SMUD’s Low Income Weatherization and Community Partners Programs.
