REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NO. 150275.OS

The Sacramento Municipal Utility District, hereinafter referred to as SMUD, is soliciting Pre- Qualification Documents (Proposals) for CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE HEADQUARTERS RENOVATION PROJECT.

This Request For Qualifications (RFQ) provides instructions for submitting proposals and establishes the process under which SMUD will evaluate and qualify the proposers.  Construction Teams evaluated as qualified shall have the opportunity to submit a lump sum bid for the project.

This process consists of two parts:
Part 1 - Pre-qualification of Construction Teams through this RFQ process to participate in Part 2.

Part 2 – Invitation For Bids, (IFB) issued to the qualified Construction Teams, with final selection and contract award made to the lowest responsible bidder who submits the lowest responsive bid.

PROJECT SCHEDULE:
The following schedule has been established for conducting the procurement process and subsequent activities.  SMUD reserves the right to modify this schedule at any time prior to award of a contract in response to this RFQ and the IFB.
