Instructions:	A mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the jobsite. Each bidder is expected to visit the site before bidding to become thoroughly familiar with the nature and location of the work, the general and local conditions, including jobsite topography and ground conditions. Failure of the Contractor to become acquainted with all available information regarding any applicable conditions will not relieve Contractor from the responsibility for properly assessing either the difficulties or the costs of successfully performing the work. No extra payment will be made for the Contractor's failure to determine existing conditions. SMUD assumes no responsibility and makes no guarantee concerning information not included in the plans and specifications or information provided by others, including SMUD personnel, about the general and local conditions that may impact the work and/or costs.
