Description :

This requisition is to solicit qualified firms to provide renewable energy engineering and technical services on an as-needed basis.  The specific scope of services under this contract are yet to be defined, but are known to require detailed engineering, investigation, (to include field work) and design services for SMUD’s current and future renewable energy assets and support of future projects.  These engineering, design and technical services are likely to cover multiple engineering disciplines but will be specific to renewable energy and/or energy storage projects as described in tasks assigned by SMUD.  
The work may include evaluation and engineering of existing installations or new projects, engineering studies, engineering analysis, work scope development, etc.  This solicitation may be issued to multiple contractors for a three-year period, with options to extend a maximum of three additional years. Individual tasks will be awarded on a competitive basis.
