Reservoir Conditions: Slab Creek Reservoir

This reservoir fills the bottom of the steep, forested South Fork American River canyon downstream from Forebay Road. There is a boat launch at the west end, suitable primarily for car top watercraft, which is accessible off of North Canyon Road on Slab Creek Road (Forest Road 11N96). Boat launch / ramp elevation: 1,820'.
