Description :

The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the Contract.  The work generally consists of design, equipment supply, installation, commissioning, training and testing for replacement of the control system, DC drive and DC motor for SMUD’s approximately 1,500 ft. incline elevator located at Loon Lake Powerhouse.  The control system shall be replaced with a PLC based system and the DC drive/motor shall be replaced with an AC variable frequency drive/motor.

Instructions:	A Pre-Proposal Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at SMUD's Fresh Pond Hydroelectric Maintenance Headquarters located at 7540 Highway 50, Pollock Pines, CA 95726 at 9:00 A.M. It will be followed by a site visit to the Job location. It is strongly recommended that all Proposers attend this conference to ensure a complete understanding of the details of this Request for Proposal.
