Description :

The Proposer shall provide all labor, material, and equipment required to perform the Service described as:	Measurement and Verification Development for Energy Storage and Electric Vehicle Programs.

The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) is seeking a consultant to develop the methodology and requirements needed to establish an ongoing measurement and verification service for SMUD’s Energy Storage and Electric Vehicle programs.  The methodology and requirements should establish how to collect and analyze data to measure and verify the effectiveness of SMUD programs and incentives that help support:
1)  The adoption of electric transportation in SMUD’s service territory
2)  The adoption of energy storage systems that participate in SMUD’s programs
3) The extent to which adoption of electric transportation and energy storage in SMUD’s territory is providing the planned benefits.

SMUD intends to award one contract to develop a detailed handbook that covers the measurement and verification (M&V) methodology which can be used to develop an going M&V program. After delivery of the handbook, SMUD may choose to execute a one year M&V service contract with selected proposer on a task order basis.
