Instructions:	A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and Job Walk will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. The Pre-bid will be conducted at the SMUD Headquarters building, 3rd floor, main conference room. Immediately following the pre-bid meeting, a mandatory job walk will be accomplished at the work site, 397 South Lexington Drive, Folsom, CA. Each bidder must attend the pre-bid and job walk in order to bid this project and become more familiar with the nature of the work and the general and local conditions, including jobsite requirements and conditions. Failure of the Contractor to become acquainted with all available information regarding any applicable conditions will not relieve Contractor from the responsibility for properly assessing either the difficulties or the costs of successfully performing the work. No extra payment will be made for the Contractor's failure to determine existing conditions.
