Sackheim Consulting has been prime contractor for over $500,000 of work for SMUD on multiple contracts, and less than $100,000 of work as a SEED subcontractor, as well as a SEED subcontractor on multiple on-call contracts where the prime got the bid evaluation preference points to win the contract but would not have offered any work to Sackheim Consulting (and in at least one instance, did not offer any work to Sackheim Consulting) after being awarded the contract. I am out of the country until returning to Sacramento late April 9 (this posting is being made from Brazil). Whether or not your firm would like to identify Sackheim Consulting as a subcontractor, this is an effort by SMUD to which I would like to make a contribution to resolve the issue of SEED subcontractors being used by primes to obtain contracts, but not being given an opportunity to serve SMUD to the maximum benefit of SMUD customer-owners.
